Just as we cannot create God, we cannot create spirituality. Spirituality is the fulfillment of the relationship between the self and the world ('The Kingdom of God') that lies outside the world/s that humans make. Faiths that religions promote are preventing people from the expression of spirituality. When the supporters of religions kill others for establishing the supremacy of their respective faiths, the madness is complete. Why should people support any religion that destroys the sanity of the mind, that makes paedophiles, priests, presidents, people all insane. Religions do not give them sanity as they say faith is necessary for spirituality though nothing in the world that supports life work on the basis of faith. Faith is alien to spirituality, and so faith must go with trash.

When the mind is conditioned by the objects of civilization- the objects that people make based on their reasoning, there creeps into consciousness an insensitivity to everything that supports life. It has become highly essential to move against this violence against the sanctity and sanity of life to save ourselves from the present trend in the civilization. The incursion of commercial values into family is destroying its very existence. That is another picture.

Spirituality is not a mental exercise, nor is it a psychic disorder. It actually embraces the whole awareness of the human consciousness. It depends essentially on how we react to the creations of God (human beings included). The core emotion here is the primordial love that all minds are capable of, and which is being slaughtered by many of our systems. Though the prophets were trying to upgrade consciousness, the religions have failed in that. When prayer becomes the basis of spirituality, the effect is just the opposite.
