I make myself a body,
In every age I come back
To deliver the holy,
To destroy the sin of the sinner
To establish righteousness."

What is Truth?
The only moral force in this Universe is Truth, the system that controls everything and every being in it. All systems that we find in it work according to this principle. The formation of matter, its grouping into different elements, these different elements further grouping to form celestial bodies, the formation of life on these celestial bodies, the origin of species, and their integrative existence. etc. All that we find in our vicinity belong to this creativity. Nature and all beings in it belong to this system of Truth. All beings are born according to it, and die according to it. Just like all other beings human beings also belong to this system by virtue of their birth. When a human being is born, it belongs to this system that has a strict moral code the implications of which must be grasped by everyone for fulfilling life. The ones who grasped the implications of this moral code were the prophets who spoke of Truth after whom all these major religions are known. These religions are becoming expressions of ignorance for they are promoting faiths that have no validity in the world of Truth- the world that lies outside the world/s that people make. The best expression of the human mind is possible only when it is guided by the system of life.

Since Truth is not the creation of any human agency, its morality is not the product of any religion that we find on the planet Earth. We can intellectually and emotionally belong to Truth, or belong to the fancies and fabrications of social groups. Truth is the only principle that is valid to the whole system of this Universe. It should be so in all the affairs of every human being. It should be so in the affairs of nations too. The perception of Truth will not change on the basis of the nature of the perceiver. Either we can see its principle, or cannot see its principle. If we see it, we are not blind; if we do not see it, we are blind to it. Perception of Truth cannot change its qualities because it is the principle that exists even outside the perception. If we understand it, we know it; if we do not know it, we are ignorant of it. The ones who knew it are called the Enlightened. The prophets were the Enlightened ones. But not so the people who fight for many social groups known after them. Mohammed said: "The entire Universe has been created on the principle of Truth". So he knew it. Christ said he knew it. People did not understand the implications of his statement. They took him to the Roman Governor Pilate, who ruled them at that time. Pilate said: "What is Truth? I do not know." So an innocent man was crucified. The world is still in darkness without guidance Truth because the perpetrators of lies say it is their right to tell lies. Each individual in this world can also tell lies, and all of them can kill each other for establishing the veracity of their versions of lies.

What is Enlightenment?
Enlightenment is the knowledge of the reality, Truth, existing in this Universe. If one is a human being, one should know its moral implications. The knowledge of reality is superior to the knowledge of anything humans fabricate as part of their civilizations. Even if humans are not here, the reality that controls it will be here just like the Universe because reality is not the product of human consciousness. All other beings will be here that includes vegetation too even if we are not here. Even if the Universe is not here, Truth will he here because it is the first principle. Anything that grows has life, has sensitivity, and so life. Reality, Truth, is not subjective knowledge. It is objective because it is outside the perception of the perceiver. Interpretations of reality do not have any value because interpretations come after the reality. Reality is a scientific statement that works on the basis of mathematics. Nobody can say 1+1 is not 2 because it is not subjective. The 'Gospel of Buddha' says:

"Truth cures our diseases and redeems us from perdition;
Truth strengthens us in life and in death;
Truth alone can conquer the evils of error. [Rejoice, 9]

Truth knows neither birth nor death;
it has no beginning and no end.
Welcome Truth. Truth is the immortal part of mind. [Samsara and Nirvana,10]

Truth is a living power for good, indestructible and invincible!
Work Truth out in your mind, and spread it among mankind,
for truth alone is the saviour from evil and misery.
The Buddha has found Truth and Truth has been proclaimed by the Buddha!
Blessed be the Buddha!" [Truth the Saviour,16]

Subjectivity has nothing to do with spirituality because knowledge of reality is not subjective. God can be known only through Truth because God speaks through the reality that lies outside the world/s humans create though people associate God with someone else's creativity and imagination. Reality is what the world is as it is created by God, and human interaction with that world must be based on its system of life as humans are the products of this system. Sankara, the Indian philosopher, said: "Knowledge is the awareness of what a thing is in itself. It is gained by the valid means of knowledge. Neither logical acumen, nor ritualistic observances are of avail in acquiring knowledge." ('Sarva Vedanta Siddhanta Sarasangraha'-190) This is where people fail. Knowledge should not be based on logic because logic is based on reasoning.

Religions degrade due to Reasoning.
All religions degrade due to reasoning because the prophets were not guided by reasoning. They were guided by Pure Reason, the reasoning of the mind which is yoked to Truth (see What is Pure Reason? ). Islam in the hands of the ignorant are degrading, and is becoming a killing religion in many parts of the world. This is the crisis in the religion from which it should be salvaged to make it conform to the vision of the prophet after whom it is known. Perception of reality, Truth relates to the perception of the world as is it created by God, not as it is perceived by the perceiver. There is the proverbial story of the blind people perceiving the elephant. The one who touched the tail maintained that the elephant was like a broom, the one who touched the leg argued that the elephant was like a pillar, the one who touched an ear boasted that the elephant was like a board.... The nature of the elephant is independent of the perceptions of anyone. That is the case of Truth also because Truth is infinite and permanent. That was why Gandhi said: "God is Truth". The Taoists called Truth the Tao. "(The Tao) produces (all things) and nourishes them; it produces them and does not claim them as its own; it does all, and yet does not boast of it; it presides over all, and yet does not control them. This is what is called 'The mysterious Quality' (of the Tao)." ('Tao Te Ching' Part I, 10.3)

People think that perception is more important than the objects because to them perception is the basis of personal identity. We are human beings because we are the products of Truth. To say that we are superior to Truth is like saying that children are the parents of parents. To some idiocy is better than wisdom. As civilizations progress, we are getting used to many idiocies at the cost of wisdom in all affairs of human life. This is true of religions too because religions have slipped out of the expression of Truth that the prophets spoke of .

All people have the right to maintain their faiths so long as they do not become threats to life. The concept of 'One God' was not new to Islam. The main theme of 'The Upanishads' (India,1400 B.C. to 800 B.C.) is monotheism, and the way to know God. The nature of monotheism cannot change with the languages used for expressing this concept. Socrates (4th Century B.C.) believed in monotheism. Socrates repeated the message of 'The Upanishads' when he said: 'Gnothi seauton' (know thyself). The writers of 'The Upanishads' and the followers of Socrates did not make any army to conquer those who maintained other views to spread God's religion. Monotheism is very much the basis of Indian theology. The killers of Islam are killing many humans for establishing their version of God which they consider is the product of faith. To Mohammed, God was not a product of faith. He was not trying to create a God of faith, he was trying to take people to the reality that should control people intellectually and emotionally. Islam is taking a wrong course in the hands of the unenlightened ones. The time has come for Islam to dissociate itself with the killers of Islam to be with Mohammed. The Earth as it is created by God is the best place to live.
