The Truth that Mohammed the Prophet spoke of is the law that controls everything in the Universe. This is the system of life that has been responsible for the creation of everything existing in it, and their continuity. Truth is not a parochial expression because of its legality over the entire Universe. It is very much secular because it controls constellations, the Solar system, the Earth and all beings in it. It controls animals and birds, and we human beings inherently belong to it. The knowledge of this is the knowledge of the reality that exists outside the worlds that human create based on their reasoning. The only problem is that we do not belong to this system intellectually and emotionally because human societies tend to establish on the basis of reductionism that parochial institutions promote. Faith-based religions are no exception.

Human societies have the distinctive ignorance and capability to establish societies on the basis of reductionism because of the influence of reasoning. Reasoning by itself is highly unstable because its components - perception, conviction, and motivation - are subjective and time based. (see 'Death of Reason') Since the qualities of the essential human mind are not based on these factors the mind suffers under the attack of reasoning. The emotions of love and pity are possible only for objects having life which includes human beings too. If the mind is guided by anything that we form without accommodating the essential human qualities, the result is disastrous to the self as well as to others. The blame goes to the ignorant people who make the laws of the religions that give importance to faith rather than to the system of life. The prophets demanded that life should be lived on the basis of the system of life- Truth.

There are two types of objects in the world that influence the human mind- the objects that God has made, and the objects that humans make based on their reasoning. As the essential qualities of the human mind emanate from its interaction with the objects having life, they must be called the objects of culture. Anything that we fabricate must be called the objects of civilization. The culture of the mind is based on how we interact with life, and everything that supports it. The mind loses its culture if attempts are made to establish whatever we make at the cost of the system of life. The result is the loss of culture. It can be anywhere in the world. Religions and governments no exception.

Truth is the principle responsible for the creation and sustenance of the world that lies outside the man-made worlds. "Men, serve your Lord, who has created you and those who have gone before you, so that you may guard yourselves against evil; who has made the earth a bed for you and the sky a dome, and has sent down water from the sky to bring forth fruits for your sustenance. Do not knowingly set up other gods beside God." ('The Koran' 2:21-22) Mohammed was not creating a God of faith, he was trying to take people to the reality that lies outside the world/s created by them. Faith by itself is an expression of reductionism that does not support the holistic expression of Truth. Mohammed was demanding faith in the reality, the Truth. Since people attach importance to the world they create, rewriting of consciousness becomes the greatest problem when many human agencies promote parochialism. That was the problem that Mohammed faced, and the same problem is still continuing due to the blockade of consciousness by ignorant establishments that confuse faith with spirituality and culture. The expressions of spirituality that human beings manufacture are expressions of parochialism and reductionism because spirituality, like culture, is inherently embedded in Truth. This is where ignorance infiltrates into our systems. The expressions of love and pity are basic to spirituality, and we miss them when attempts are made to justify our systems. That is the human idiocy.

Knowledge of the reality, the Truth, was the Enlightenment that all the prophets acquired. It implies that all beings, including human beings, are equal. Human life must be built upon the sacred relationship with the system of life. The problem lies in our reluctance to accept this reality. Our social systems, our economies, our educations, do not reflect this reality. Consequently we fail to upgrade human consciousness as it can be achieved only through the retention of the sacred relationship with the system of life. There is nothing sacred on this Earth other than the system of life. Mohammed was enlightened because he demanded the adherence to reality. Such necessities come when people rely on faith to solve all the problems that they create due to the practice of parochialism. Mohammed had great compassion and love, and he served the members of the weaker sections such as the orphans, the poor, the sick, the aged and the homeless. "Your God is one God. There is no god but Him. He is the Compassionate, the Merciful." ('The Koran' 2:163) Spirituality reflects this compassion and mercy in life which disappear from life when God is made an object of faith. God/Allah is not a parochial entity because the word refers to the power responsible for the continuity of the system of the Universe, the Truth. Mohammed wanted to take everyone to the holistic expression which spirituality really is. The world is becoming a battle-field due to the promotion of ignorance. Ignorance is not Enlightenment.

There is normally no confusion when people use different words for the same object. When they use different words in different languages for the Sun, the Moon, or any other object, they are not confused. They are utterly confused when they speak about God. God is not a parochial expression. "If you disbelieve, know that to God belongs all that the heavens and earth contain." ('The Koran' 4:170) The havens and the earth are common to everyone. When Mohammed went to the Kaaba and said: "God is but one God." ('The Koran' 4:171) the members of his tribe became hostile to him because they followed polytheism as in all ancient civilizations. The word Allah was used for the supreme God, and the other gods that they worshipped were considered the daughters of Allah. The same hostility that Mohammed faced is still continuing because people believe that God is a parochial expression even though Mohammed stated otherwise. "Eat and drink of that which God has provided and do not foul the land with evil…" ('The Koran' 2:60) The God that provides food is not a parochial expression. On the other hand, God is the expression of holistic rationalism.

Human actions become evil when attempts are made to violate the principles of Truth in life. The promotion of parochialism is the greatest evil in this world. Even families disappear when the system of life is subjected to the promotion of wealth by the traders who try to take the reigns of governance into their hands. As love is possible only for living beings, it disappears when attachment is made to various systems that humans promote due to the promotion of reductionism. Religions should never tamper with love. It is becoming a precious and rare commodity in the whole world. We must remember the words of Satan: "I shall entice a number of your servants and lead them astray. I shall order them to tamper with God's creation." ('The Koran' 4:118) Evil reigns due to the reading of additional meanings into the written words based on the parochialism and ignorance perpetrated by the unenlightened pundits of religions. Some religions must be saved from their fundamentalists. Mohammed tried to save the contemporary society that relied on faith to solve their problems. Truth is the only guidance available to human beings. "God can guide you to the Truth. Who is more worthy to be followed: He that can guide to the Truth, or he that cannot and is himself in need of guidance? What has come over you that you so judge?" ('The Koran' 10:35) "He that fights for God's cause fights for himself. God needs no man's help." ('The Koran' 29:6)
